Who doesn’t love love? Everyone loves an adorable, sweet, comical romance. The anime genre of rom com is just what you think it is: romantic comedy. It is about exploring love, friendships, and sweet memories. Along the way, the characters may bump into comical misunderstandings and unexpected situations that keep the story going. Regardless of their slight mishaps, the drama and comical nature is what makes rom com one of my most favorite anime genres.

5-Haganai

The plot revolves around an antisocial high school student named Hachiman Hikigaya, who is a loner and cynic with a distorted view on life and has no friends or girlfriend. Hachiman is self-depreciating and seeks to avoid other people.

3-Wotakoi: Love Is Hard For Otaku

26-year-old Momose Narumi is a die-hard yaoi fangirl geek who recently switched jobs, in hopes of being able to play off an image of a perfect, beautiful young lady. However, her hopes are crashed when she reunites with her middle school classmate Nifuji Hirotaka, an avid gamer nerd that knows about her secret.
